The 4th year of Capitol Pathways, our paid internship program for college students of color and indigenous students, has begun! This year, 33 students will be paired with 33 host organizations working in and around the Capitol during the 2019 legislative session.

The students kicked off the program this year with an orientation, legislative training, and a Capitol tour. They are about to embark on enriching internships during Minnesota’s legislative session. They’ll have a hands-on, paid internship experience with organizations in the public and private sectors that do work at the Capitol – an experience they’ll be able to build on for the rest of their careers.
