We are excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Citizens League team, Laura Kisner! Laura joins us as our new Operations and Database administrator.
With her experiences in non-profit development and database management, she brings an interest in creating efficient processes and systems to help the team thrive and grow. Previously, Laura worked at Dress for Success Twin Cities where she implemented best data practices to help serve more women working to develop and advance their careers. Her experiences also included working in southern China at a university and serving as a program and communications assistant at Cass Clay Community Land Trust to build and preserve access to affordable housing. Through these roles, she deepened her passion for empowering people to meaningfully engage with the everyday systems affecting their lives to create a more equitable community.
Laura earned her Bachelor’s degree in political science and global studies from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She lives in St. Paul where she enjoys all things related to food with friends, including cooking and visiting different restaurants, playing with her dog, and traveling.
Welcome to the team, Laura!
