Capitol Pathways Celebration

Thursday, June 6, 2024

Thanks to those who joined us for the 2024 Capitol Pathways Celebration, recognizing the largest student cohort to date!

Program supporters, intern hosts, and students gathered on June 6, 2024 to celebrate another successful year of the Capitol Pathways Program—the only paid internship program in Minnesota that creates a policy career pathway for BIPOC college students. This year, we recognized the accomplishments of 40 students and 39 host organizations working together to broaden access to policymaking for the next generation of BIPOC civic leaders. Since 2016, the Capitol Pathways alumni network now includes 300 past participants and more than 100 host organizations!

Thanks to our keynote speaker, Capitol Pathways co-founder and intern host Juventino Meza, and our panelists: 2024 Capitol Pathways interns Mya Hillerud & Marrea Taylor-Knighten, and Capitol Pathways alum and current board member Robert Harper.

Congratulations to our students and hosts!
