The Citizens League team is excited, and a little bit sad, to share that Nancy Hegdahl will be retiring from the Citizens League on February 11th, 2022. Nancy has been with the League since October 2019 as Operations and Database Administrator. Nancy’s energy, sense of humor, tenacity, and unstoppable work ethic will truly be missed. From forging relationships with vendors and partners, to navigating complex administrative problems, to wrangling board meeting and committee schedules, no one does it quite like Nancy! At the League, she has made her mark by helping us more effectively utilize our donor database, establish a new banking relationship, set up new IT and phone services, order the best swag (CL socks, anyone?) and so much more.
Her work at the Citizens League was only the final phase of Nancy’s long and impressive career in nonprofit management and accounting, including work at Nonviolent Peaceforce, United Theological Seminary, and many volunteer engagements.
We wish Nancy all the best in her retirement.
