Last year TPT’s “Almanac at the Capitol” profiled Capitol Pathways’ inaugural year and followed one of our Capitol Pathways students around for a day — from working at his host site, the Department of Natural Resources, in St. Paul, to making the one hour drive back to attend school at St. Olaf College. (Please click here to watch the video).
This week, “Almanac at the Capitol” returns with an update on how our program has grown over the span of one year. From 26 student interns and 22 host organizations last year, to 34 student interns and 33 host organizations this year. Watch the video below to hear two of our current interns — Nitya Chandiramani (host site: Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development) and Alboury Ndiaye (host site: Minnesota Private College Council)–recount their journey and talk on learning how to navigate the Capitol.
