Early childhood development and education are key determinants of future health and well–being.[1] The World Health Organization cites that “the early child period is considered to be the most important developmental phase throughout the lifespan and what happens to the child in the early years is critical for the child’s developmental trajectory and life course” [2].Therefore access to high quality, affordable early childhood education is important to improving Minnesota’s social, economic, education and health outcomes.

Hear from experts about the importance of early childhood education, the financial impact it has on our state, the current challenges to providing this to the youngest members of our community, how COVID19 is impacting ECE from an economic and community perspective, and how you can get involved in the conversation.
