On Feb. 21, Capitol Pathways students gathered for their monthly cohort meeting to reconnect and share updates on their internship experiences. They focused on strengthening their networking skills by developing personal elevator pitches and  customizing it to fit their style, personality and goals in different networking situations.

They were joined by guest speaker Senator Clare Oumou Verbeten (DFL, District 66), who shared her personal story, career path, and experiences working with community to address various public policy issues as a legislator.

After the cohort meeting, we hosted our only Capitol Pathways social hour of the year. Students were joined by program alumni, host supervisors, and other friends and supporters — and used their networking skills to create many new connections! Thank you to those who joined us!
