Capitol Pathways 2016 alum accepts Policy Director position for the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless

Congratulations to Capitol Pathways alum, Fatima Moore, the new Policy Director for Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless (MCH)!

Fatima was part of our first Capitol Pathways cohort in 2016 and interned with Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. After the program, she accepted a position with the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) as their Local and Regional Policy Coordinator. This year, the MCCD was one of our 33 Capitol Pathways host organizations and Fatima was the direct supervisor for one of our students.

With the long-term goal of making our government truly representative of our communities, the program seeks to open access to the Minnesota Capitol to the next generation of leaders of color. Fatima’s journey from Capitol Pathways student, to host supervisor, and now Policy Director, embodies the Capitol Pathways mission of catapulting young people of color into policy making positions. Read more about Fatima here and click here to learn more about our Capitol Pathways program, and how you can support it.

Congratulations, Fatima!
