Organizational Membership
Organizational (“Corporate”) memberships promote the Citizens League’s broader work in the community and provide opportunities for members’ internal teams to access civic education programming. All member organizations are publicly recognized and invited to participate in an annual member-only policy session. Other benefit opportunities include a menu of workshops and policy topic presentations for your employee teams as well as opportunities to sponsor public events.
Civic Celebration Event Sponsorship
Citizens League’s annual Civic Celebration held each spring is our premier event bringing together hundreds of community members to celebrate civic leaders who have had an impact on Minnesota. Sponsorship packages include guest tickets/tables at the event and promotion to recognize your support.
Mind Opener Sponsorship
Mind Opener conversations connect Minnesotans to policy issues to develop a deeper understanding of the nuances of complex policy issues – and explore potential solutions. Sponsors are recognized for partnering with the Citizens League to reach new and broader audiences in the community through supporting non-partisan Mind Opener programs on critical policy topics.
Capitol Pathways Internship Host
Capitol Pathways is a paid spring internship for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) college students that promotes civic engagement and advances upward mobility in policy careers. Organizations such as government offices, nonprofits, corporations, and law firms that work in and around Minnesota’s Capitol are invited to connect with the Citizens League to explore hosting a Capitol Pathways intern.
Grant Support
General Operating grants help support Citizens League’s overall community engagement and policy programs that empower people to engage in civic life to make Minnesota a better place to live and work for everyone. Program grants may be dedicated to specific projects or initiatives, including our Capitol Pathways internship program.
