Board Committees
Committees of the Citizens League Board are organized around specific topics to advise the Board and staff. In addition to their particular charges, each committee contributes to the mission of the Citizens League by advancing the Citizens League's policy agenda, recruiting non-board members and new participants to the committee, and developing relationships with other organizations.
Policy Advisory Committee
The Policy Advisory Committee reviews and proposes to the Board issues and ideas for the Citizens League to study, evaluate, and/or discuss publicly. The committee also reviews study committee reports as they are produced. Find out more or sign up to join.
Membership and Engagement Committee
The Membership and Engagement Committee advises the staff and Board on policies relating to membership and member engagement. Find out more or sign up to join.
Development Committee
The Development Committee participates directly in raising the resources necessary for our annual budget, and it develops and sustains a long-term base of financial support to ensure the Citizens League's sustainability. Find out more or sign up to join.
Nominations and Leadership Development Committee
The Nominations and Leadership Development Committee identifies and recruits individual leaders to participate in Citizens League activities and develops an annual slate of nominees to the Board. Find out more or sign up to get involved.
Communications and Outreach Committee
The Communications and Outreach Committee helps the Citizens League communicate its work clearly to the public and works to raise the visibility of the Citizens League through the media and with key business, community, philanthropic and government leaders. Find out more or sign up to join.
Finance and Audit Committee
The Finance Committee performs duties related financial planning, including preparing the Citizens League's annual budgets, recommending policies regarding borrowing by the Citizens League, and outlining the Citizens League's long-term financial objectives.
