What is the Citizens League doing to support prosperity rather than react to poverty?

Current anti-poverty policies are a reaction to poverty and include strong disincentives to save and earn.

The Citizens League's Pathways to Prosperity project is working with five community partners to launch Family Independence Demonstrations in Minnesota. These demonstrations will test new policies with groups of families that set goals and are accountable.

Find out more about how these demonstrations will work, what policy changes are needed, and who plans to participate.
