The Citizens League is proud to co-present the National Civic Summit. This three-day event is a convening of civic organizations and civic conversations from across the country, focused on active citizenship through expanding our civic imagination and capacity -- key elements of the Citizens League's mission.
So, what is the National Civic Summit?
- The Connection -- A new-era industry trade show and collection of informative seminars, convening citizens and civic organizations and voices to learn, connect and engage. The Citizens League will be there sharing our message and work.
- The Opening Night Social & "Tweet-Up" -- Translating civic organizations and conversations into the Web 2.0 world through a "live" event stream broadcast across America. Complete with live entertainment, libations, and a Twitter training we will provide the stage for fun conversation and social media content amidst the historic backdrop of the Mill City Museum. Featuring musical guest Dan Wilson.

Mill City Museum, 704 S 2nd Street, Minneapolis - The Civic Participation Portal -- Launch a state-of-the-art web resource tool that will continually aggregate social media about the topic "civic" that will integrate and spotlight our own CitiZing! website.
- Civic Training Portal -- Do you want to learn more about how "social media" can help you professionally or personally? We have experts hosting a series of informative seminars helping everyone get prepared to amplify their voice at the National Civic Summit. You can join in as well by simply registering at www.civictraining.com -- which will also provide you ongoing updates about future trainings and the summit.
