The Citizens League Emerging Leaders Committee presents the Inter-Generational Roundtable Discussion Series, a new opportunity that looks to bridge the gap between generations by bringing our members together for an intimate roundtable discussion with some of Minnesota's distinguished leaders.

We hope you will join us for this third roundtable session with Kathy Tunheim, CEO of Tunheim Partners, and Jean King, Minnesota's political communications veteran.

Kathy Tunheim As principal and CEO of Tunheim Partners, Kathy oversees strategic planning for clients and is actively involved in client service and counseling. Under her leadership, Tunheim Partners has grown to be one of Minnesota's largest public relations agencies. Kathy also serves as president worldwide of IPREX, a consortium of leading independent public relations firms in major markets throughout the world.

Kathy has extensive experience in corporate, government and nonprofit communications management. She continues to provide counsel across the agency's wide range of clients, with particular expertise in assisting and anticipating clients' needs in media relations, crisis management and navigating the public policy arena.

Jean King Minnesota's political communications veteran, Jean runs Communi-King public speaking consulting - an operation she's managed for more than 25 years. Her contributions to state government, civic engagement and education are vast and deep. She began her career as a speech writer for Governor LeVander, served as executive assistant to Governor Quie, and later served as director of administrative services for Metro State University.

No stranger to the Citizens League, Jean is a former board president and co-authored the 2003 report, "Doing the Common Good Better: A Call to Citizen Action in Minnesota".
