Broadening the conversation: cross-sector cooperation and public policy Increasing public scrutiny, uncertainty, and skepticism have opened new debates on the role of government in our society and communities. Increasingly, nonprofit and private entities are taking on responsibilities thought largely to be the purview of the public sector. Against this backdrop, the 23rd Annual Policy Analysis Conference offers a fresh approach. Its plenary sessions will open the door to new visions and new pathways for Minnesota's future. Innovations are emerging in all sectors--nonprofit, private, and public. Conference participants will be challenged to think anew about the state's future and how their work contributes to it, regardless of the sector they represent. |
