This event is free--well, almost. It is a chance for people to get to know the Citizens League, so if you are a member who would like to attend, please bring a nonmember as your guest.
Polarization has become a powerful force with social and economic consequences.
There is an industry growing up around us intent on keeping us angry. By cultivating a sense of outrage and opposition, it seeks to polarize every issue, not just the important ones.
The Citizens League, in partnership with The Walker Art Center, invites you to join Nate Garvis. Nate will offer his keen perspective on the forces shaping society today and suggest ways to weave ourselves back together so that we can tackle today's complex issues with sustainable results.
