The Pig in the Python Has Spoken . . . Come Hear What It's Saying in Minnesota

Ecumen and the 2020 Conference are inviting Citizens League members to participate in an upcoming conversation on "the pig in the python": the Baby Boomers and their views on aging in Minnesota.

Details:

You recently heard the results of the Citizens League's MAP 150's study. Now the Citizens League is pleased to host a lunchtime event that features fascinating data about Minnesota Baby Boomers' Views on Aging.

The Boomers' views impact all of us as we prepare for our state's unprecedented demographic change when we'll have more seniors than children. Results from the largest ever statewide survey of Minnesota Baby Boomers will be shared by Citizens League board member Kathryn Roberts and Citizens League member Eric Schubert.

Kathryn is CEO and president of Ecumen, which is Minnesota's largest non-profit senior housing company, and Eric is Ecumen's director of communications. They'll share key findings from their "Age Wave" Study, which probed boomers' views on:

  • Longevity & Images of Aging
  • Care Choices & Paying for Them
  • Technology
  • Where We'll Live
  • Working or Retiring
  • Civic Engagement

When: February 20, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Room 500 North, State Office Building, Saint Paul, MN 55155
