Panel discussions will focus on management excellence, contracting for services, and collaboration as a means for delivering public services. The panel discussions will include local government officials, city managers, financial experts, and academic scholars.
Following opening remarks from Karen Anderson, the former mayor of Minnetonka, the program will proceed as follows:
8:30–9:30 a.m. Management Excellence. Panelists will offer case studies from their organizations showing best management practices.
9:30–10:30 a.m. Contracting Out and In. Local city officials will offer ideas and suggestions on outsourcing and contracting for various services.
11 a.m.–12:15 p.m. Collaborations for Delivering Public Services. From healthcare to recreation services, panelists will share ideas for collaboration to achieve the best results.
