Reforming High School and Higher Ed: Power of You Evaluation

We've taken credit for helping to generate the idea for the Power of You scholarship program. (The genesis of the program was connected to our "Trouble on the Horizon" higher education report in 2004.)

This article in Saturday's Pioneer Press highlights some concerns about the programs effectiveness.

The irony is that these concerns actually emphasize the fundamental point in our higher education report: one of the best things we could do for higher education is to reform high school (and prepare more students for post-secondary education).
