Citizens League and the Civic Caucus

Yesterday's mention in the Star Tribune was a good reminder that I haven't talked enough about the partnership emerging between the Citizens League and the Civic Caucus. Putting aside the fact that the members of the Civic Caucus really created the Citizens League in the 1950s and 1960s (and are all current members), this recent conversation has been a great opportunity -- for both groups I believe.

The quality of their discussions, and their discussion summaries, are first rate. They have a wisdom about policy analysis that is truly unique, and helpful in our work. Their focus on providing high-quality information, and working to find new ways of engaging people in public policy, aligns nicely with our goals.

We are hoping to build the connections between their lists and ours, and in our case, to see if some of our members can join their small group format.

If you are interested in this -- or have questions, please contact me. Thanks!
