Dave Durenberger's 2nd...or 3rd, or 4th act

I suppose this probably counts as "logrolling" (since Dave recently said nice things about me), but I have to highlight the recent Strib article on Dave Durenberger.

Dave gave me the chance to co-chair the "Doing the Common Good Better" study committee with Jean King five years ago. He helped to pull the Citizens League out of the financial gutter. He was an incredibly generous mentor for me personally. (And if you watch him interact with his kids, you can see how great he is as a father.)

Dave's commentaries, available through the NIHP's web site, are amazing to read. I wish I could write like this. And I'm convinced that he's diagnosed the problem in health care as well as anyone else. (We're excited to work on a solution he supports through our recent Medical Facilities Report.)

I'm glad that Dave is getting this recognition. I hope his new "acting role" continues with Minnesota, and the Citizens League, for a long time.
