Technology and the Future of Civic Engagement: What's next?
Our event yesterday was a great success in terms of featuring creative and insightful (and very wise) people. A lot was put on the table -- and the insight was fantastic. Griff Wigley blogs about it here and the conversation is really really interesting. It would have been useful to focus more on long-term trends and specifics, especially given the panel we had. (Chalk it up to better planning on my part next time.)
There are two questions that stand out in my mind:
1) How can we structure events better? Can they be more focused? More interactive? We have the ability to be creative here? We're open to any and all suggestions.
2) How must we prioritize our work on technology -- and connecting to people who get where we are going.
I welcome feedback on both points.
